MAP Pricing Update
What is changing?
We are aligning our Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) to match our current Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) across all Oracle Lighting products. This means MAP will now be set
at the same level as MSRP.
Why is Oracle Lighting making this change?
We are making this adjustment to:
- Protect dealer profitability by preventing undercutting from online sellers.
- Simplify pricing so MAP and MSRP are consistent across all channels.
- Strengthen brand value by maintaining a premium positioning in the marketplace.
- Ensure a level playing field for all partners—regardless of sales channel or location.
How does this benefit my business?
- Higher margins – No competing against unauthorized deep discounts.
- Simpler pricing – One set price for both MAP and MSRP.
- Increased consumer confidence – Consistent pricing reinforces product value.

Will this change my dealer cost?
No, dealer purchase price remains the same. The change is to advertised pricing, not wholesale cost.
When does the new MAP policy take effect?
The new MAP policy will take effect September 22,2025. All advertised pricing must comply by this date.
How will this be enforced?
We will:
• Monitor online and in-store advertised pricing.
• Contact dealers who fall out of compliance for correction.
• Communication from MAP Compliance company.
• Take necessary steps to protect all compliant dealers if violations continue.
What about promotions or sales?
Approved promotions will be clearly communicated in advance. Dealers must obtain written approval from Oracle Lighting before advertising prices below MAP.
