Oracle Lighting’s Justin Hartenstein Named Finalist for ‘19 SEMA Gen-III Innovator of the Year.
Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com) is proud to announce that founder Justin Hartenstein has been named a finalist for the prestigious SEMA Gen-III Innovator of the Year. The winner will be named during the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet at the 2019 SEMA Show, held in Las Vegas, Nev. from Nov. 5-8.
“It is truly an honor just to be nominated for an award that recognizes hard work and innovation in such a large and dynamic industry,” said Hartenstein, who founded Oracle Lighting in his garage in 1999.
One of just two individual awards that the SEMA organization presents each year, the Gen-III innovator is an honor given to a young innovator who exhibits the same pioneering spirit as the original industry founders. According to SEMA, the Gen-III Innovator of the Year recognizes individuals whose work is changing the way the automotive aftermarket does business. He or she may have been the first to act on a new trend, invented an original product or devised and implemented ideas that better suit the current automotive marketplace.
Besides being a trend-setter, enthusiast, and innovator Justin is also an advocate for the automotive lighting aftermarket, making him an excellent candidate for this award. He sees the challenges that are taking a toll on the aftermarket lighting industry such as overseas counterfeiting. After months of working with foreign courts, attorneys, private investigators, and other authorities in China- Justin filed legal action against an underground counterfeit factory ring in China that has repeatedly violated not only the Intellectual Property of ORACLE Lighting but of a half dozen other SEMA manufacturers. He hopes to use this experience to create a roadmap for other SEMA manufacturers to follow in order to receive relief from the damage caused by illicit counterfeiting in the industry.

Oracle Lighting Features Formula Drift Dodge Viper in 2019 SEMA Show Booth
Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com), the market leader in creating high quality lighting products and innovative LED solutions for the automotive aftermarket, is proud to announce that it will host the Formula Drift competition Dodge Viper in its booth (21505) during the 2019 SEMA Show, held in Las Vegas, Nev. from Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Viper’s driver, Dean “Karnage” Kearney, will also be in the Oracle Lighting booth signing limited edition posters throughout the show.
“The Oracle Lighting Dodge Viper produces an estimated 1,400hp through its Twin-Turbo V10 engine, making it the most powerful drift car in the world!,” said Justin Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting director of development. “This vehicle is also famously featured in several video games including the popular Forza Horizon 4.”
The Viper features a pair of Garrett 4088 turbochargers feeding the V10 engine, which pushes out more than 900hp at just 3,000 RPM, and an equally impressive amount of torque. Overall, the package is good for more than 1,400hp but the final output is undetermined because most dynos will shut down well below that threshold.

Out of the 3,000+ Products in the SEMA New Products Showcase in 2017, the ORACLE Vector Grill was later confirmed by SEMA to be one of the Top 10 most scanned products from SEMA's thousands of eager attendees and car enthusiasts! We literally couldn't have imagined a better response to our countless hours of hard word and design.
"That’s one of the coolest things I've ever seen for a JEEP"
Another huge highlight at SEMA 2017 was ORACLE drift wizard Dean "Karnage" Kearny's highly anticipated release of the ORACLE 1350 HP Twin Turbo Dodge Viper, made just for the 2018 Formula Drift Season. After working months with a behind-the-curtain attitude, this secret drift missile made it's debut and was quickly named one of the top ten Mopars at the entire show by Automobile Magazine

Oracle Lighting at SEMA Show 2016
As we wrap up and reflect on our 7th consecutive trip to the world renowned SEMA SHOW in Las Vegas, Nevada, we here at ORACLE LIGHTING enjoyed what might have been our most successful year ever (no seriously) at the annual automotive industry event. From forging and building relationships with our current and future business partners to exposing countless professional and amateur auto enthusiasts to the ORACLE brand, there was more than enough reason to celebrate the 2016 SEMA SHOW.
Capitalizing on a recent move from the North hall to the front of the popular Central Hall, the ORACLE Lighting booth was one of the main attractions as eager attendees entered the Las Vegas Convention Center. Featuring interactive displays and detailed product information on all four of it’s interior walls, the ORACLE booth seemed to make a huge splash.
"There’s something engaging me everywhere I turn and I like that"
For our booth car this year, we took a hiatus from our standard practice of designing and customizing our own vehicle and instead dived deep into our customer pool to find the perfect fit. The result? Taylor Doobin’s #LB888 Dodge Challenger from Ft. Meyers, Florida, which featured our brand new Surface Mount Waterproof Halo and Fog Light kits.
Sporting a custom wrap designed by Florida based Skepple and Redline Design, the #LB888 Dodge Challenger had no shortage of admirers throughout the four days. Numerous media outlets, gear heads, interested consumers, and long-time accounts were all drawn in from the SEMA aisles and into the ORACLE lighting booth for a quick picture or glance of this gorgeous one-of-a-kind vehicle.
Along with our Surface Mount Halos and Fog Lights, Doobin’s Challenger also featured our well known LED Illuminated Wheel Rings, custom painted LED side markers, our new LED grill illumination kit, and our Dodge Gauge Cluster Halo kit, which really blew people away as they inspected the interior of the vehicle.
Once inside our booth, our biggest draw for attendees and clients was the New Products section, which included our new LED Bluetooth controlled Rock Lights, the 2016 Chevy Camaro ColorSHIFT® DRL kit, and Concept SMD side markers for the 2015+ Dodge Challenger, the 2016 Chevy Camaro and the 2015+ Dodge Charger.
ORACLE also had the honor of not just being featured inside the confines of our booth. Among the 100+ featured vehicles, many were sporting ORACLE products including the XS Power CTV Cadillac, West Coast Diesel’s monster Dodge Ram, and of course the ORACLE Lighting/Gas Monkey Energy Dodge Viper which put on a great drift demo at the SEMA Ignited after party. There were also multiple sightings of our JEEP LED mirrors installed across SEMA’s many custom vehicles.
For 2017 we are coming in harder than ever. With plans for a nationwide search for our 2017 booth vehicle, we hope to spread our brand, our products, and our message to every nook and cranny of the automotive industry as we continue the climb towards the pinnacle of innovation. Light em’ up!
Oracle Lighting at SEMA Show 2015
Moving On Up!
For the first time in our SEMA Show attendance, ORACLE Lighting got one of the biggest boosts you can get in the industry by making a move to the Central Hall. Being surrounded by some of the biggest companies in the business is a humbling, yet motivating feeling. With the ORACLE Lighting Dodge Viper drift car in the booth, along with our driver Dean "Karnage" Kearny, we got off to a great start and never looked back.
Oracle Lighting at SEMA Show 2014
It was not possible to visit this year's SEMA show and not see the impact of ORACLE lighting products. With over 80 featured vehicles in attendance sporting a wide-range of our LED lighting products, there was something on display for everyone. In addition to the featured vehicles, there were also innovative new ORACLE products in the new products showcase and ORACLE product features in the "SEMA Daily" newspaper each day of the show as well as in SEMA News Magazine.
Our main booth #11627 in the Mobile Electronics section of the North Hall featured our custom Ultima GTR R-spec race car outfitted with ORACLE Quad-Halo Headlights, Interior Illumination, LED Engine Compartment Illumination, Custom LED Tail Lights, and much more. The Ultima is a unique Twin-Turbo Porsche 993 power train setup with a Porsche 930 gearbox. We would like to thank Avery Dennison and PGNOLA for the excellent livery design and wrap materials that really made our project car "pop" in a sea of amazing vehicles at this year's SEMA Show.
For the 2015 SEMA Show, look for ORACLE Lighting to make the move to Central Hall show floor.
2014 Booth car - The Ultima GTR
For the 2014 SEMA Show, our goal was to build a project vehicle that was sure to turn heads in a sea of amazing vehicles. The Ultima GTR is a British Supercar with exotic styling and a racing heritage. This particular Ultima GTR is in Race-Spec form with a notably sparse interior and aggressive aero which creates downforce but is not ideal for street driving. The Ultima is powered by a Porsche Twin-Turbo Flat 6 which puts the power to the ground through a Porsche 930 gearbox. This air-cooled setup puts down approximately 600rwhp to the 335 wide rear Hoosier slicks mounted on custom 3-piece Kinesis wheels.
Obviously this vehicle had to show off plenty of ORACLE Lighting accessories so it was outfitted with ORACLE Quad-Halo Headlights, Interior Illumination, LED Engine Compartment Illumination, Custom LED Tail Lights, and much more. The car looks amazing sitting still but even more impressive racing around the track at night!
The custom racing Livery is composed of 7 different vinyl materials in several different finishes (gloss, matte, reflective, chrome, and printed). The design was inspired by traditional Le Mans livery schemes but with a modern twist fit for the SEMA Show. We would like to thank Avery Dennison and PGNOLA for the excellent livery design and wrap materials that really made our project car "pop" in a sea of amazing vehicles at this year's SEMA Show
Oracle Lighting at SEMA Show 2013
It was not possible to visit this year's SEMA show and not see the impact of ORACLE lighting products.
Coincidentally, four cars from ORACLE Lighting were featured this year. For the first year since beginning the SEMA show attendance, the ORACLE Lighting Camaro was not present. However, the project taking its place was nothing short of "special." The main vehicle of the ORACLE Lighting booth was none other than an Aston Martin SuperVantage, one of the premier vehicles of the British Supercar market. The car was acquired a few months before the SEMA Show. It quickly got the ORACLE treatment, outfitted with specialty LED lighting a custom wrap, and plenty of carbon fiber.
Among this exclusive beauty, the ORACLE Lighting Motorsports vehicles also made an appearance. How often do you get to see a NASCAR or a Formula Drift Car up close and personal? The ORACLE team trailered Hal Martin's Nationwide series race car all the way from New Orleans to Vegas in superior fashion. The ORACLE Lighting SRT-10 Viper was trailered via Achilles Racing, the tire sponsor responsible for the entire Achilles Drift Team. Our South Hall Booth #38047 in the "Powersports" section featured a Polaris RZR with our new SMD Halo Kit installed as well as some of our new innovative Off-Road LED Lighting Solutions.
"We had almost double the foot traffic in our booth this year at SEMA compared to the two years we displayed prior. The SEMA Show has helped us build brand recognition over the past two years and will help us to grow for years to come!"
Our main booth #11761 in the Mobile Electronics section of the North Hall featured our Supercharged Aston Martin "ESX Super-Vantage" on display, sporting Red ORACLE Headlights Halos, Fender Lighting, Red DRL Lighting, custom made LED sidemarkers, a one-off JL Audio Sound System, ORACLE LED Wheel Lighting, Hexis "Frozen Gray" wrap, and tons of custom carbon fiber goodies.
Custom anodized forged rims from USW Forged Wheels and sponsored Continental Tires were the footwear for the Aston Martin. USW Forged Wheels are 100% USA manufactured, including the forgings. Their meticulous wheel manufacturing process focuses on quality, reliability, and safety, making these wheels the perfect fit for the Aston Martin. Also making their debut are the all new ORACLE Lighting Illuminated Wheel Rings. These rings are designed to fit around the brake rotors of your vehicle, and illuminates the wheel barrel, or base with Premium ORACLE Flex LED Strip. Check out the video below from the SEMA Show Booth
ORACLE Lighting's Jeep Off-Road Mirror Released at SEMA
This innovative new product from ORACLE Lighting made its debut at the 2013 SEMA Show and features a set of high powered LED light bars integrated into factory-style side mirrors of the Ford F150/SVT Raptor and the Jeep Wrangler JK. This integration allows for easy installation and a clean, almost OEM look while providing functional peripheral illumination for the driver. Why is peripheral illumination important? Factory headlights and most auxiliary lights only illuminate the area in front of the vehicle. Ideally for off-road activities, such as trail riding, the driver needs to be able to clearly see the area on the sides of the trail to spot obstructions, which would otherwise go unnoticed and could be a potential hazard.
image slideshow of jeep and ford
Besides being functional these new LED Mirrors from ORACLE Lighting look great as well! The LED light bar is a custom design that features a total of 24 Cree XPE 1W LEDs. This gives the driver a total of 24W of LED power producing approximately 2200lm. Each unit has a 45° beam angle to optimize the driver's peripheral visibility weather riding on the trail or in the desert. Multiple aluminum heat sinks are used to effectively wick heat away from the LEDs and are designed to use the airflow through the mirror housing to increase cooling similar to a radiator.
The housing material is made from rugged Polycarbonate and bolts onto the vehicle using the factory mounts for easy installation. A set of anodized rock guards protects the LED acrylic lenses, which also houses the DBM Reflex LED optics. These efficient optics focus the light for optimal visibility from the driver seat position. Check out the installation videos below on how to install both the Ford and Jeep Off-Road Mirrors from ORACLE Lighting.

ORACLE Motorsports Drivers Meet and Greet
While you were at our booth we hope you had a chance to meet our ORACLE Motorsports Drivers who were on hand each day signing autographed hero cards.
Dean "Karnage" Kearney drives the #43 ORACLE Lighting SRT Dodge Viper Formula Drift car. The Viper is easy to spot on the track because it is outfitted with ORACLE Headlight and Fog Light Amber Halos and a custom 4500lm LED 3rd brake light. Dean and the ORACLE Lighting Viper joined us at SEMA fresh off a 6th place finish in the FD season finale at Irwindale Speedway.
Hal Martin the "Ragin Cajun" drives the ORACLE Lighting #44 car in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Hal's last race was in Kansas where he had one of the fastest qualifying speeds but unfortunately an early accident knocked him out of race contention. This was Hal's first time at the SEMA Show and said that he was impressed at how large the show was and his favorite part of SEMA was the Awards Banquet.
If you missed our drivers at our booth be sure to check out the last page of the 2014 ORACLE Catalog for a copy of the limited release SEMA Show Poster featuring both drivers!
Oracle Lighting at SEMA Show 2012
ORACLE Lighting Technologies was proud to be apart of the 3rd Consecutive SEMA Show to date. Offering new innovative lighting products and two exclusive SEMA builds, ORACLE Lighting came well prepared. The booth was expanded this year for more showcase room featuring a Polaris RZR completely decked out with high intensity ORACLE Off-Road Lights and brand new, never released RZR Halos. ORACLE Lighting was also delighted to host Rutledge Wood, recently famous for co-hosting the U.S. Version of Top Gear, for a meet and greet autograph session.
"SEMA has always been a good show for us to meet new potential accounts and follow up with existing accounts so our turnout is always very positive but this year seemed to have something a little more to it."
"We had almost double the foot traffic in our booth this year at SEMA compared to the two years we displayed prior. The SEMA Show has helped us build brand recognition over the past two years and will help us to grow for years to come!"
This year, it seemed that more people knew who ORACLE Lighting was and felt like they had a connection with the company since the brand is being featured on more celebrity TV builds and in numerous magazine features where customers show off their custom lighting.

Line-X Body Armor Camaro at SEMA SHOW 2012
Oct. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/
True to West Coast Customs fashion, the LINE-X Camaro is full of interior and performance modifications, but it's the initial look of the exterior that sets this car apart from any other vehicle at the SEMA show. LINE-X sprayed the entire exterior with the newly announced LINE-X Body Armour in "West Coast Customs Blue," giving the Camaro a unique and unexpectedly rugged appearance. Body modifications from SLP Performance Parts include its Camaro performance hood and prototype front fascia and spoiler. To give the LINE-X Camaro an even more aggressive and low profile performance look, West Coast Customs included rocker panels by Street Scene Equipment and outfitted the vehicle with Continental Tires and LINE-X coated wheels by Asanti. A SLP rear wing completes the exterior performance look.
Industry leader, ORACLE Lighting, provided its high-end LED lighting package.
