The SEMA Data Co-op (SDC) is the the largest aftermarket industry data resource, representing more than 500 brands with a collective inventory of more than 4.5 million parts, and is a valuable asset for product data creation and management. Even if your current product data is accurate, however, it can become outdated if not frequently reviewed and revised—and, in many instances, replaced altogether with data created in newer, richer file formats.

Last year, the SDC released a new member scorecard with recommended data improvements for SDC members to maintain their respective product-data rankings (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum). SEMA is recognizing those members with the SDC Data Excellence Awards, which honor companies that have worked with SDC over the year to recreate and relaunch industry-leading product data sets.

This year’s honorees included Oracle Lighting.

"We are proud to offer our wholesale accounts this Gold-level product data and are appreciative of the hard work by our data management team that earned us another SDC Data Excellence Award," said Melissa Parker-Boudreaux, National Sales Manager for Oracle Lighting. "This is one of the many benefits enjoyed by our valued wholesale partners, and having this rich data makes integration seamless when adding a new product line into their business."
