At Oracle Lighting, one of our most popular in-house services is our custom installation. Our team of knowledgeable experts work together to provide efficient and high-quality work every time. Watch this brief overview of the process!

If you do not wish to install any of the products offered yourself, you can ship your headlights or fog lights to us for a professional installation by our trained technicians! Whether your customer wants an existing kit installed or a totally customized lighting setup, we are available to assist with your outsourcing needs. Your sales rep will assist with the setup of the custom application, you will be responsible for removing the lights from the vehicle and shipping them to us. You can bring your housings to the nearest UPS store where they will carefully package and ship the lights for you.

Below are some recommendations to consider when packaging your lights:

  • Lights should be individually wrapped with bubble wrap or similar wrapping product for fragile items.

  • Foam bag/spray offer best protection for headlights and fog lights.

  • Headlights and Fog Lights should have no less than 2 inches of padding between products and the top, bottom, and sides of box.

  • Use of “loose” packaging is not recommended. Item should not be able to move around the box.

  • Protruding brackets/features and attachments should be protected and immobilized if possible.

  • Headlights/Fog Lights should be insured for the total value of the items in order to prevent out of pocket expenses should damage occur.

Once arrived, they pass an inspection before being taken to our technicians for installation. With the install complete, our shipping team will package the lights with UPS-grade packaging for secure protection. We can usually design and install a kit in 5-7 business days depending on how complex the ring design is. Please add an additional 10-12 business days for OEM or Gloss Black Paint.

We can build the new set of lights, with all of your customer's desired customizations, and ship them back to you to complete the vehicle's modification. This is a great way to earn the business of local customers over competing shops that do not offer completely custom work!

This is a great way to advertise a new service that you weren't able to offer before. Since you bypass the hassle of opening and resealing the housings yourself, it can be a much easier process for a smaller or busier crew which will allow you to assist more customers.

When promoting on social media, choose high-quality photos and videos to show off the service you offer and tag @oraclelights so people know that you are an authorized dealer.

Where possible, promote your installation service by taking photos of your own work and update followers on build progress. If you choose to use a customer's photo or one you find on our profile, remember to credit the vehicle's owner. If you have a large build that displays your work well, you can consider hiring a local photographer to take professional photos (with the customer's permission) to use for promotional purposes.

Tag your shop location and use hashtags such as #ledlights #offroading #oraclelights. Posting on your Instagram or Facebook Story will also help more people find your page, and be sure to have your contact information on your profile so they can easily contact you. You can even display a tablet or television in your showroom with a slideshow of the photos you take and post. Many people like to see how the custom work will look when installed on their vehicle so use photos of your most regularly serviced vehicle.
